DHAKA: The 24th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) is set to begin at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in city on Wednesday (January 9).
President M Abdul Hamid is expected to inaugurate the month-long fair at 3 pm.
The fair will remain open for visitors from 10am to 10 pm up to February 8.
The price of entry ticket, Taka 30 for adults and Taka 20 for underage, has been fixed.
The fair is organized jointly by the Commerce Ministry and Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
A total of 550 stalls and pavilions will be set up in the fair venue.
Detective police will also ensure public security as well as regular ones.
Apart from 60 premium pavilions, 60 premium pavilions, 38 premium mini pavilions, 20 reserved pavilions for women, 26 foreign pavilions, 18 general pavilions and 22 food stalls will enhance facility at the fair.
Different organizations from India, Bhutan, Pakistan, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Nepal, Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, the Maldives, Mauritius, Russia, Iran and Swaziland are participating in the fair.
