GOPALGANJ: Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said efforts are being made to reduce trade deficit with China and India.
The newly-appointed minister informed reporters after paying homage to the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Friday (January 11).
Tipu Munshi said, “We've made more progress than the past. About 250 crore people live in India and China. We are making best efforts to reduce trade deficit with these two countries.”
“Already, we are exporting various products including plastics, garments to the Indian market. We are making plans targeting different countries for example China and Indonesia,” the minister said.
