CHATTOGRAM: Three officials of Pubali Bank, including a branch manager, were arrested in connection with embezzling some money.

Md Manjurul Islam, deputy general manager of Pubali Bank, handed over them to Chawkbazar Police Station on Monday (Jan 14).

The detainees are Chawkbazar branch manager Enamul Karim Chowdhury, 42, Junior Office Ekramul Reza Rezvi, 34, and officer (computer) Chandon Dey, 33.

Police said the deputy general manager of Pubali Bank filed a case accusing seven people, including the detained trio, for embezzling Tk 128,550,000. Four other accused are on the run.
