DHAKA: The 9th Biman Bangladesh Travel & Tourism Fair (BTTF) is scheduled to kick off on Thursday (April 18).
The three-day fair is organized by Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB).
President Abdul Hamid is expected to inaugurate the fair at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC).
The schedule of the fair was announced at a press briefing at Hotel Intercontinental Monday (April 15).
Tour operators from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Vietnam, Philippines, and UAE will take part in the fair apart from local tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels and resorts.
Bangladesh Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer Bhuban Chandra Biswas, Bangladesh Parjatan Corportaion Director Shahadat Hossain, Biman Bangladesh Airlines Manager SM Nazrul Islam, among others, attended the press briefing presided over by TOAB President Taufiq Uddin Ahmed.
As many as 140 business organizations will take part in the fair, said organizers.
The fair will remain open to all at a cost of Tk 30 per person, from 10am to 9pm each day.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines is title sponsor of the fair.
