DHAKA: Three-day long "Indonesia Fair 2019" is set to begin at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) here on Thursday (April 25).
Indonesian ambassador in Dhaka Rina P Soemarno disclosed details about the fair, at a press briefing at Sonargaon hotel Tuesday (April 23).
More than 75 Indonesian companies will take part in the fair, she said.
Indonesian boutique, clothes, jewellerries, handicraft, food, beverage and tourism will be exhibited in the fair.
The fair will continue till Saturday (April 27) and remain open to visitors from 11am to 8pm each of the days.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will inaugurate the fair.
A business forum of Bangladesh-Indonesia will hold a discussion on the second day, vowing further strengthening ties among the two countries.
Indonesia-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry General Secretary Mostofa Kamrus Sobhan confirmed the matter.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan will attend the discussion as the chief guest.
