DHAKA: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) authorities are set to display price list of daily commodities in digital screen installed at the Nagar Bhaban. 

DSCC Mayor Sayeed Khokon made the disclosure while talking to the reporters at Hatirpul kitchen market Thursday (May 9) morning.

"We are making the price list digital so that we can update it from the Nagar Bhaban," he said.

"Digital screens will be installed at the markets within next two to three weeks where the price list will be provided from the Nagar Bhaban," added Sayeed Khokon.

The DSCC mayor further said that prices of the daily essentials are in the purchasing capability of the commoners during this month of Ramadan.

The existing market monitoring will be strengthened further and law will be implemented strictly, to fight illegal price hike, he added.

Higher officials of DSCC, Bangladesh Food Safety Authority and Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection were present.
