DHAKA: Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam said he found no irregularity regarding prices of essentials during his surprise visit to Mohakhali market on Sunday (May 12).
“I didn’t see any irregularity while visiting this (Mohakhali) kitchen market today,” the mayor told reporters after the visit adding that he would pay visits to other markets of DNCC in phases.
The mayor checked if price tags are hung up or not and groceries are sold as per price lists.
