Dhaka New Market to remain open every day in Ramadan

DHAKA: The businessmen of Dhaka New Market have decided to keep the shopping center open everyday throughout the month of Ramadan, vowing to facilitate smooth shopping for customers ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Authorities of the shopping center confirmed the matter Sunday (May 12).

Earlier, the New Market remained closed on Tuesday every week.

However, the pressure of shoppers, marking the upcoming largest Muslim festival, hasn't mounted yet.
