DHAKA:  Tk 328.22 crore budget has been approved for development and non-development expenditures of parliament for the fiscal year 2019-2020. 

The approval was given at the 30th meeting of the parliament secretariat commission held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday (May 23).

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury chaired the meeting. 

Members of the Commission Prime Minister and leader of the House Sheikh Hasina, deputy leader of the opposition Rawshan Ershad, on behalf of the opposition leader, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq were present at the meeting.

The commission also approved the supplementary budget for the current fiscal 2018-19 and projected budgets for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 fiscal years.
