DHAKA: Bangladesh, for the first time, participated in Nigeria's national trade fair.
Niger State Governor Mudi Mohammed inaugurated the fair that took place in his state from May 15 to May 25.
Bangladesh High Commission Head of Chancery Mohammad Shah Ekramul Huq attended the inaugural ceremony.
Bangladesh High Commission in Nigeria confirmed the matter in a press release issued on Wednesday (May 29).
Various Bangladeshi products including garment products, knitwear, ceramic, medicine, handicrafts, plastic and melamine products and jute and leather products were exhibited in the fair.
Nigeria is the African country which is world's sixth largest in oil producing.
