DHAKA: State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Dr Md. Enamur Rahman said the chemical factories of Old Dhaka will be shifted to Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj by June 2022. 

The state minister said this after the meeting of inter-ministerial Disaster Management Coordination Committee on investigation report of fire incidents at Churihatta in Old Dhaka and Banani at the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief at secretariat on Wednesday (June 26).

Besides, Dr Enamur Rahman said that the chemical warehouses will be shifted to Kadamtali and Tongi from Old Dhaka by June 2020.
