DHAKA: The Commerce ministry directed Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) to start open market sale of daily commodities ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The commodities include onion, garlic, ginger and hot spices.
The decision vowing to keep the prices stable at consumer level, was taken at a meeting chaired by Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, on Wednesday (July 24).
The ministry's senior secretary Md Mofizul Islam issued the decision.
But, when the sale will begin, he didn't mention.
The meeting was attended by trade leaders.
