DHAKA: Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) has increased the gold prices again within a day.
The revised prices of gold were disclosed in a press release issued by BAJUS on Tuesday (August 7).
The price of 1 bhori (11.664 gram) of 22-carat gold rose by Tk 1166.
BAJUS on Tuesday (August 6) increased gold prices too.
BAJUS said, a bhori of 22-carat gold will cost Tk 55,695, 21-carat Tk 53,363, and 18-carat Tk 48,347, and the traditional gold price will remain unchanged.
Besides, the prices of silver have increased after long time.
Tk 233 has been increased per bhori.
As per the new chart, one bhori of silver will cost Tk 1,166.
BAJUS General Secretary Dwilip Kumar Agarwala said the prices have been up in line with international market.
