DHAKA: Gold prices dropped by Tk 1,166 per bhori in Bangladesh after increase in several phases since August 2018 to August this year.
Bangladesh Jewellers' Samity (BAJUS) issued a press release regarding the new price-list Tuesday (September 10).
The new chart will come into effect from Wednesday (September 11), it said.
As per the new chart, price of 22-karat gold will cost Tk 56,862 and 21-karat Tk 54,529 and 18-karat Tk 49,864.
BAJUS General Secretary Dwilip Kumar Agarwala said the prices have been reduced in line with international market.
