DHAKA: Mr. Asaduzzaman, Vice President of the Prime Insurance Company Limited has been honored with award for insurance awareness campaign in the Social media.

The Simanto Cultural Foundation, a sister organization of the Bangladesh Medha Bikash Society organized the award giving ceremony to honor people who have outstanding contributions to the society and culture. 

The programme was arranged on the occasion of Mujib Centenary and International Mother Language Day at the Shawkat Osman auditorium at Shahbagh in Dhaka on February 18.

In the insurance sector, Mr. Asaduzzaman got the award for innovative activities in the social media basing on different national and international days and relates it with the insurance. 

It is an awareness campaign to make people aware about insurance and social security. 

He received the award from the Chief Guest of the program, a Language Movement veteran Mr. Shamsul Huda and Ex State Minister of Education Mr.  Nazimuddin Al Azad.  

Mr. Asdauzzaman hails from the village Golbunia of the Sarankhola Upazila and has eight publications in his credit line including a book on the life and activities of economist Dr. Mahabub Hossain.
