Tax return submission deadline extended till Dec 31

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for income tax return submission by a month.

NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem said it to reporters in NBR headquarters in Dhaka's Shegunbagicha on Monday afternoon.

Yesterday, the NBR chief said the deadline would not be extended beyond October 30. However, that decision has been changed following extension demands from various quarters of taxpayers.
