Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan visited the head office of Agrani Bank in Dilkusha Commercial Area of the capital on Saturday.

He held a view-exchange meeting with the bank Chairman Dr Zaid Bakht and its Managing Director Mohammad Shams-Ul Islam.

Ahmed Akbar Sobhan acknowledged the bank’s financial assistance to various projects of Bashundhara Group.

The bank’s managing director assured the Bashundhara Group chairman of continued support to the country’s largest business conglomerate in the future.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interests on the economy, business and development of the country.

The bank chairman and MD said they are closely connected for more than three decades with Bashundhara Group which is working for the welfare of the people and development of the country.

Bashundhara Group Chairman later visited the ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ of the bank. The corner is a dedicated section featuring publications on the life and works of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Ahmed Akbar Sobhan lauded the efforts of setting up the exclusive Bangabandhu Corner at the bank.
