Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) has decided to increase the price of gold in the domestic market again within two weeks by Tk 2,041.20 per bhori as the price of gold is increasing in the international market.
The new rate will be effective from Sunday (May 23), says a press release issued by BAJUS on Saturday.
According to new price of BAJUS, gold in the local market will be sold at Tk 73,483.20 per bhori of 22-carat while 21-carat gold at Tk 70,333.92 and 18-carat gold will be sold at Tk 61,585.92.
Earlier on May 10, the price of gold was increased by Tk 2,332.80 per bhori.
