Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased price of 12kg cylinder of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).  

The price has been increased by Tk 62 to Tk 1,240 at the retail level, including the value added tax (VAT).  

The new price will be effective from 6:00 pm on Thursday (Feb 3).

The BERC announced the new price at a virtual press briefing on Thursday.

BERC Chairman Abdul Jalil, other commission members Mohammad Abu Farooq, Maqbool E Ilahi Chowdhury and Mohammad Bazlur Rahman attended the event.
