The Dhaka University authorities have decided to resume in-person classes from Wednesday (May 8).
The university's public relations office confirmed the matter through a press release issued today (May 6)
As the intense heatwave reduced to a tolerable level in the capital, in-person classes will start again in the university from May 8.
On April 21, DU authorities concerned issued a notification saying due to the severe heatwave in the country, the University of Dhaka will conduct classes online until further instructions are given.
The notification also advised students to leave their dormitories for homes to follow health guidelines carefully to minimize health risks.
