DHAKA: Jannatul Ferdous Oishee was crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2018.

Now she will represent Bangladesh at this year’s Miss World Beauty Pageant to be held in China.

Nishat Sarwar Salwa and Naziba Bushra were declared first and second runner-ups respectively.

The grand finale of the Miss World Bangladesh beauty pageants was held at the Rajdarshan Hall of International Convention City-Bashundhara (ICCB) on the graceful night of Sunday (Sept 30).

The 10 aspirants who reached the final were—Nishat Naoar Salwa, Manjira Bashar, Israt Jahan Sabrin, Smita Tumpra Baroi, Afrin Sultana Labonee, Sumona Nath Ananya, Naziba Bushra, Jannatul Maowa, Shirin Shila and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee.

The jury board had singer Shuvro Dev, model-actress Tarin, model-actor Khaled Sujan, model Emi and Barrister Farabi.  

Miles brothers Shafin Ahmed and Hamin Ahmed, and Anisul Islam Hiru were the Iconic judges. 

Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas, Anchol, singer Minar Rahman and Maria Shimu performed at the gracious event.

However, Miss World 2018 will be the 68th edition of the Miss World pageant scheduled to take place in Sanya, China on December 8.
