The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has directed authorities concerned to close all unregistered clinics in the country within the next 72 hours.

A notice was issued on Thursday (May 26) following a virtual conference regarding supervision and monitoring of private hospitals and clinics.

The local government and law enforcement agencies will carry out drives to close down these unregistered healthcare organisations, the notice said.

Dr. Belal Hossain, Director of the Department of Health Hospital and Clinic, confirmed this information to the media.
