The country reported 20 fresh dengue cases in last 24 hours till Thursday morning (June 2), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, the nine new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, one dengue patient admitted outside the capital.

Some 381 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till June 29 while 328 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
