The second round of the oral cholera vaccination campaign began on Wednesday (August 3) morning in five particular areas of the capital.

The campaign will continue from 8.00am to 4.00pm without any break. The vaccination will be conducted till August 10 (except Friday and Ashura Day on Tuesday).

icddr,b under the supervision of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), is administering the second dose of oral cholera vaccine.

A total of 2.36 million people living in Jatrabari, Dakshin Khan, Sabujbagh, Mohammadpur and Mirpur areas of the capital who received the first dose of the vaccine between June 26 and July 2 will be given the second dose of vaccine during the drive.
