The National Technical Advisory Committee (NTAC) on COVID-19 has recommended to wear mask and use hand sanitizer properly in all places.

These recommendations were made from the 59th meeting of the COVID-19 advisory committee held on Saturday night here on Zoom platform with committee Chairman Professor Mohammad Shahidullah in the chair. 

NTAC has asked to motivate people who so far did not receive first, second and buster dose of COVID-19 vaccination. The committee discourages to hold meeting in closed space and encourage holding official meetings on virtual platform.

People have been asked to wear mask when they participate in any social gathering or meetings. The committee in its recommendation has urged the government to take steps for reducing COVID-19 diagnosis cost in the private sector.
