BGB deployed in city ahead of hartal

DHAKA: The government deployed Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel in the capital to avert any subversive activities during hartal.

Some 10-platoon BGB members were deployed in city’s important points at 8:00pm.

A competent source of BGB confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On Saturday, opposition BNP-led 18-party alliance called 60-hour nonstop hartal from Monday morning.
