MYMENSINGH: Police arrested a youth on charge of distortion of image of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday.

The arrestee is Shafiqul Islam Shafiq.

Acting on a tip-off, Gauripur Thana police arrested him on Tuesday dawn from Shahganj under the thana.

Officer-in-Charge of Gauripur Thana Hamidul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police sources said Shafiqul Islam posted two distorted photographs of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday on facebook.
