DHAKA: State Minister for Law Qamrul Islam expressed satisfaction over the verdict of much-talked-about BDR carnage case.
The ruling Awami League lawmaker said the government is satisfied over the verdict of BDR carnage case.
The minister came up with the content while expressing official reaction on the verdict by special court that sentenced to death 152 mutineers, including DAD Tawhid, for their involvement in the BDR carnage case of February 2009, the largest killing case in the country.
Regarding a report of CNN, Qamrul Islam alleged that Salauddin Quader Chowdhury, Pakistan’s premier Intelligence service ‘Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Fazlur Rahman distributed Tk 40 crore to heap on the bloodshed in BDR carnage.
