DHAKA: The government has sent an arrest warrant against BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman to the British government with an urge to get back him.

Quoting home ministry a national daily reported the matter on Wednesday.

As per the report, the arrest warrant against fugitive Tarique Rahman has been sent by Dhaka National Crime Prevention Committee to United Kingdom’s National Central Bureau (NCB) through a diplomatic channel.

Earlier, a Dhaka Court issued an arrest warrant against Tarique Rahman in a bribery case.
