RAJBARI: A police constable was killed in a road accident on Rajbari-Kushtia highway on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased is Baharul Islam, 30, a police constable of Kalukhali Thana and hailed from Madhukhali upazila under the district.

Sources said Baharul was going to Kushtia by a motorbike in the afternoon. On way, a Rajbari-bound truck coming from opposite direction crushed into his motorbike, leaving him dead on the spot.

Police Super Rezaul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
