Politics to be transparent

FROM KUALA LUMPUR: Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr Mohammad Yunus underscored the need for making politics more transparent.
 
He said that it is difficult to carry out politics and other related matters simultaneously. For that reason politics has to be spotless and transparent.  In this connection, young generation’s entrance to the politics is vital to create a new trend.

He came up with the observation while addressing a press conference after first session of fifth social business summit in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia on Thursday.

The internationally renowned economist actually made the assertion in reply to a question about Bangladesh government’s attitude to him.

Dr Muhammad Yunus delivered the keynote speech at the opening session of the three-day-long global summit at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

He said that problems will exist in all sectors. But people have to go forward with ideas to solve the crisis.

When asking about effectiveness of same project in different countries, people of separate religion and caste, Dr Yunus said that humanity is the culture. Human being and humanity is the main factor.  Some 99 percent people of the world have some similarities. So their problems are mostly same. Reducing the problems, we are spreading our social business successfully.

The theme of the summit of this year is ‘Social business to change the world.’ But the huge arrange seemed they want to change the world with their success in this sector.

Eminent jurist Dr Shahdeen Malik, Dr Asif Nazrul, business and entrepreneur Rokeya Afzal and various section of people from Bangladesh have joined the summit.
