Road crash kills JSC candidate

CHAPAINAWABGANJ: A Junior School Certificate (JSC) candidate was killed in a road accident while three other candidates injured in another accident in the district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Wahedur, 14, son of Saidur Rahman, hailed from Sanpur Gazipara of Nachol upazila.

Local and police sources said on his way to examination centre by an auto-bike collided head on with another locally made engine-run vehicle ‘Vutvuti’ at the Fatepur area of the upazila, leaving him dead on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Nachol Thana Said Iqbal confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Besides, three JSC candidates were injured as a Vutvuti turned turtle in Laxmanpur of Nachol upazila. They were locally treated.
