Gazipur Jamaat Ameer held

GAZIPUR: Police detained Ameer of district unit Jamaat-e-Islami from his residence in Shibbari intersection the metropolitan city on Wednesday.

The detainee is Abu Hasem Khan, 70, Ameer of district Jamaat-e-Islami.

Gazipur Assistant Police Super Tauhidul Islam Chawdhury told banglanews: “The Jamaat leader was held for his alleged involvement in subversive activities.”
