Illegal Workers: KSA extends 1 month for legalizing

RIYADH: Labour Affairs Ministry of Saudi Arabia has extended one month more to legalize process for illegal workers.

The General Director (Inspection) of the ministry, Faisal Al Otaibi confirmed about the recent decision and said detecting the illegal workers process would precede during the time.

Faisal told journalists: “The inspection staff will raid in populated areas to verify workers identity cards, information and salary structure following the ministry’s previous pronouncement.”

He also said if the illegal workers would able to prove as they are under process of legalization, the officers would got opportunity of the extended time

Faisal added otherwise they would be sued and no person or organization can escape from this process.

Meanwhile, the companies and institutions will be monitored during the scrutiny.

Saudi Arabia granted the opportunity to decrease ongoing illegal immigrant’s crisis.
