MUNSHIGANJ: Violent blockaders torched three passenger buses on Dhaka-Mawa highway at 4:00am Saturday.

A helper of one of the buses was burnt severely and he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Blockaders also vandalized two launches at Mawa Launch ghat.

Witnesses said that blockaders set fire to three buses and later vandalized two launches at ghat.

Sub-Inspector of Mawa police outpost Hafizur Rahman told banglanews that fire fighters rushed to spot and doused the fire.

Lauhojang Thana Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
