A cross-community running event, organised by Bashundhara Runners, took place at the Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Friday.

Huge number of people from Bashundhara R/A participated in the event while nearly 70-80 runners from outside the area also run on the track.

The five kilometre run started from in front of the Walton Corporate Office, Block – I, Bashundhara R/A at 06:30am (BST).
The event was organised in order to promote a healthy lifestyle and make a good neighbourhood in the community.

Bashundhara Runners, which was formed in early 2019, has been organising such events since its inception.
