Preliminary results reveal that independent candidate Syed Sayedul Haque, widely known as Barrister Suman, is dominating the competition in the Habiganj-4 constituency with a substantial lead in votes.

The national election kicked off at 8 am on Sunday, marking the simultaneous commencement of voting throughout the country.

The voting process persisted until 4 pm, after which the crucial phase of counting votes promptly commenced. 

Based on the results from 7 centers within the Habiganj-4 constituency, Suman emerged as the frontrunner. 

A total of 8,240 votes were cast in these 7 centers under the Eagle symbol. Suman's closest competitor Mahbub Ali, representing the Boat symbol, secured 1,427 votes. 

This places Suman comfortably in the lead by a significant margin.
