India’s West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has congratulated Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the victory of Awami League in the 12th parliamentary election.

The ruling Awami League is going to form the government for the fourth consecutive term.

West Bengal Chief Minister congratulated her on this achievement.

She said, “I congratulate Bangladesh on this victory. Congratulations to Hasina ji and her family and her party Awami League.”

“Congratulations to everyone who won the polls from my side and the people of West Bengal. May Hasina ji be well, I pray to God,” Mamata Banerjee added.
