A couple died in a road accident in Natore's Lalpur upazila on Thursday (Jan 11) morning.
The accident took place around 7:30 am at Dakshin Lalpur village on the Baneswar-Ishwardi regional highway in the upazila.
The deceased were Chandu Molla, 62, and his wife Arobi Begum, 42, residents of that village.
Police said Chandu Molla and his wife Arobi Begum were going to Azimnagar Rail Station by a three-wheeler locally called Vutvuti in the morning as one of their relatives had died. On the way, when they reached Dakshin Lalpur filling station, the three-wheeler lost control and overturned on the road due to dense fog, leaving the two dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to morgue for autopsy.
