Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (January 7) predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours commenced from 9am on today.
According to the BMD bulletin, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may be disrupted temporarily due to thick fog.
Night temperature may fall somewhat over the country. Day temperature may fall slightly over the southern part, and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 28.7 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while today's minimum temperature 10.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nikli.
The sun sets at 5:29 pm today and rises at 6: 43 am tomorrow in the capital.
