A 50-year-old unidentified man was found dead near Bangabandhu National Stadium gate-3 in Paltan area of the capital on Thursday (January 11).

According to locals, the man was in unconscious state at about 10:20am and informed police, confirmed the sub-inspector of Paltan Police Station, Md Babul.

Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared him dead, he said.

The body was kept at the DMCH morgue for post-mortem examinations.
