4 BCL men killed after truck hits car in Sylhet

Four Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists were killed after a truck hit their private car in Sylhet's Jaintiapur upazila on Saturday (January 20).

The deceased were Tomal, 25, son of Arosh Miah; Nehal, 26, son of Randeep Pal; Jubayer Ahsan, 26, son of Jamal Uddin; and Suom Ahmed, 25, son of Harun-or-Rashid. All of them were the residents of Jaintiapur and active member of the upazila unit.

The accident happened at about 1am on the Sylhet-Jaflong highway.

Tazul Islam, officer in charge of the Jaintiapur police station confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
