A that fire broke out at a building in the capital's Chawkbazar area on Saturday (January 20) morning has been brought under control.
The fire broke out around 8.59am on the ground floor of six-storey Solaiman Tower in the area.
Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters media cell official Anwarul Islam Dolon confirmed the matter.
He said being informed, six firefighting units rushed there and brought the blaze under control around 9.50am.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, he said.
However, no casualties were reported in this incident, he added.
