The Akheri Munajat of the first phase of Biswa Ijtema ended on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi, Gazipur.

The first phase of this Biswa Ijtema is set to end today (February 3) with the Akheri Munajat.

The Akheri Munajat started around 9:00 am.

People from around the country came to take part in the prayer. Not getting a place in the Ijtema field, many of them have been staying on the road since night.

Ijtema Media Coordinator Habibullah Raihan said, according to the decision of Ijtema's leading teachers, the prayer is being led by Imam and Khatib Maulana Zubair of Kakrail Mosque in Bangladesh.
