Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (February 16) predicted that weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. 

According to the met office bulletin, light to moderate fog may occur over the country during late night to morning.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 32.7 degree Celsius at Chattogram and today's minimum temperature 14.0 degree Celsius was recordedat Tetulia.

Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 08 millimeters (mm) at Jashore.
 
Seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to Northeast Bay.

Night temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets at 05.54 pm today and rises at 06.31 am tomorrow in the capital.
