The Election Commission (EC) has published the updated voter list.

As per the voter list, the number of voters in the country is 12 crore 18 lakh 50 thousand 160.

The country now has 6 crore 21 lakh 44 thousand 587 male voters, 5 crore 97 lakh 4 thousand 641 female voters, and 932 voters of the third gender.

Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal revealed the final voters' list on Saturday (March 2) during a ceremony arranged to mark National Voter Day.

Comparing to the previous year's data, there has been a 2.26 percent increase in the number of voters. On the same date last year, the voter count stood at 11 crore 91 lakh 51 thousand 440.
