The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 8 to TK 1,482 for the month of March.

In February, the price was increased by Tk 41 to TK 1,478. 

BERC authority announced the new price at a press conference organized at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission office today (Mar 3).

According to the announcement, the new price will be effective from 6:00 pm today.

At the retail point of private LPG, the price has been adjusted to Tk 123.52 per kg including VAT for the month of March, said BERC authority.

Earlier in July, BERC lowered the price of 12-kilogram cylinders of LPG by Tk 75.24.
