Three Bangladeshi nationals were killed in Kajang, Malaysia, after being hit by a commuter train on the railway tracks at Taman Puncak Utama Jade Hill.
The incident, which took place around 11pm on Sunday, resulted in the immediate demise of the victims, aged between 30 and 40, as reported by The Star, a Malaysian news outlet.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said on Monday that the individuals had allegedly trespassed onto the tracks and their bodies had not been trapped on the tracks.
The force of the collision had hurled them to the side of the railway line, he added.
Rescue efforts started promptly, with the bodies being recovered around 12:15am on Monday and subsequently handed over to the police for further procedures.
