Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four members of a robbers' gang from Keraniganj of Dhaka.

The arrestees are Md. Miraj, 19, Md. Shaon, 19, Ruman Shikder, 19, and Md. Ripon, 27.

RAB-10 Assistant Director (Media) Assistant Superintendent of Police MJ Sohail confirmed the matter on Friday (March 8) afternoon.

He said tipped off, members of Rab-10 conducted a drive and arrested the four, as they were robbing pedestrians in different areas of South Keraniganj area. 

They used to rob various valuable assets by scaring them with sharp knives, he said.

A robbery case has been filed against them and handed over to the police station, the official added.
