Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim passed away at a hospital in the capital on Sunday (Mar 10) night.

He breathed his last at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) around 8pm, PM's Deputy Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas confirmed.

Meanwhile, the prime minister expressed profound shock and sorrow at the demise of Ihsanul Karim, also a former managing director and chief editor of BSS.

In a message of condolence, she prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
